Cabo Rojo and West Side

Cabo Rojo is located on Puerto Rico’s famous “West” side. Cabo Rojo sits in the southwest corner of the island blessing this town with miles of coastline. On the Beaches of Cabo Rojo you can spend full days under the sun at a Blue Flag Beach of Boqueron or La Playuela / Playa Sucia, which was voted by travelers as one of the best in the Caribbean. On the way to Playa Sucia, you stop by Las Salinas / The Salt Flats which is worth a stop, the scenery is beautiful and an opportunity to see how salt is collected. Las Salinas has been functioning since 1525. Los Morrillos is a functional lighthouse with impressive sights. The lighthouse is inside the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge, a wonderful place that’s still considered a secret escape for nature. Locals adore these trails for jogging, walking and bicycling, however you’ll never find crowds. This wildlife refuge is considered the most important stopover for migratory birds in all of the Caribbean. Reserva Natural La Parguera is a little, little cay / island off the coast of the town of Lajas on the southern coast of Porta del Sol. This cute island’s colors are blue, green, turquoise and coral, a nature lover’s tiny paradise surrounded by more sister islands, everywhere you stand on the island, the views are gorgeous. Mata La Gata Island is part of mangrove islands managed by Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA). Mona Island – the Galapagos of the Caribbean is an uninhabited island and a nature reserve offering amazing scuba diving, snorkeling, caving and camping experiences. Swim on secluded beaches and have the most unforgettable stargazing memories. Isla Ratones is a little gem in Cabo Rojo just off the coast of Joyuda. Spend the day swimming on clear waters, snorkeling and getting the perfect tan. After a fun day, stay in Joyuda for fresh fish dinner with a sunset view. You can get to the island on a short boat ride from Joyuda with local charter. El Puente Natural is one of our favorite secret places for years and is now one of the most photographed scenic spots in Puerto Rico. A spot worthy of a postcard or a romantic set on Pirates of the Caribbean. Many call it El Puente Natural, Puente Natural de Piedra and in English “The Natural Bridge”. The other side goes no-where so in reality it is an arch, no matter what you call it, it’s gorgeous and worth the trip. A magnificent natural work of art right on the southwest corner of Puerto Rico.

Arecibo is known as El Diamante Del Norte,“The Diamond of the North”.  Located on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, the town is about 50 miles west of San Juan.

Puerto Rico, feel the love

Tres Casitas, in Las Quebradas, Cabo Rojo, is one of those properties you will fall in love. When you think of Cabo Rojo you probably recall its beautiful beaches such as Combate, and Buyé. Tres Casitas is just a minute drive away from La Parguera, in Lajas, in the southwest corner of the island.
